It took place during the call of the â€Å"Missile Crisis† in Cuba in October 1962. The Cuban missile crisis was the closest the world ever came to nuclear war. The United States’ armed forces were at their highest state of quickness ever. Soviet Union commanders in Cuba were prepared to use battlefield and nuclear weapons to defend the island in case it was invaded. Thanks to two brave men, President John F. Kennedy and Premier Nikita Khrushchev, who were brave enough to prevent the war. The center of the conflict started when the Soviet Union established a base of military operations and the heart of oxidant. This step generated the conflicts between super potential. One side was the United States and the other side was the Soviet Union and China. The crisis almost became World War 3 and the 1st nuclear War. This would have produced a catastrophe that would of affected the people who lived in Cuba. Therefore the first objective was to disappear any eventual atomic bombing.
